A HOSPITAL-BASED sight specialist now has one eye on the community after returning to practice part-time.Optometrist Lynne Welham will continue to work one day a week in Eye Casualty, based in the Ophthalmology Outpatient Department at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle.
But she now also runs clinics two days a week at Cooper & Flower, a family-run optician with branches in Middlesbrough, Stokesley and Coulby Newham. (more…)

Scottish estate agent finds cure for the credit-crunch hangover

A GROUND-BREAKING property-swapping website is set to help Scotland’s housing market shake-off its credit-crunch hangover.
Billy Gallacher, of Alexandria-based GPM Estate Agents, has become the first estate agent in Scotland to sign up to Property-Matchmaker.com
The website, dubbed the match, trade and swap site for property professionals, is sweeping across the UK and is already credited with re-invigorating the housing market activity in towns and cities across England. (more…)
