Armstrong Davis Further Strengthens its Consultancy Team

TEESSIDE: Stokesley-based global construction consultancy Armstrong Davis Associates Ltd (ADA) has further strengthened its construction consultancy team with the appointment of Chris Hewkin.

Chris is a member of both the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and a Masters Degree in Construction Law and Arbitration.

Prior to taking up his post as Consultant at ADA, Chris has spent over 15 years as a Quantity Surveyor and Senior Consultant, working in diverse areas of the profession, including specialist refurbishment, masonry and fit-out contracting.
He was also a Senior Consultant at a leading contractual and commercial consultancy undertaking commissions in the building, engineering, petrochemical and power sectors.

Chris, who will be based at ADA’s Leeds office, has extensive experience in the preparation and negotiation of final accounts and in both adversarial and non-adversarial dispute resolution.

“The company is growing and has plans to continue its expansion. ADA was looking for a skill set from a broader perspective to strengthen the knowledge and experience of the team,” said Director Dave Armstrong.

The company is a specialist in major projects within the oil, gas, offshore and construction industries with a particular focus on dispute avoidance and resolution. It currently works in the UK, Norway, Malta and Dubai.

“I am delighted that Chris has agreed to join us. I believe that he will make a significant contribution to the growth of our business,” added Mr. Armstrong.
